We thank you for choosing the Punta Verudela apartments for your stay in Pula. We would like to inform you that as of November 2011 Punta Verudela will be closed due to refurbishment. After extensive renovations, the resort is set to be open in May 2012. and will be named
Park Plaza Verudela Pula.
Park Plaza Verudela Pula is situated on the eastern side of the Punta Verudela peninsula on the south
coast of Croatia and offers modern residential apartments. The ideal summer resort for families with children and all those who wish to enjoy their holidays on the Adriatic Sea.
Location
- The resort is located near the historic city of Pula and is easily accessible by public transport. The city of Pula is known for its impressive Roman ruins including one of Europe's best preserved Roman Amphitheatres and lively nightlife with numerous restaurants and bars.
- The distance from Pula airport is 13 kilometres and is easily accessible by car and bus. If you are travelling by car the resort offers complimentary secured parking for guests.
Apartments
The Mediterranean style resort consists of 385 self-catering apartments. The apartments will be renovated winter 2011 and are equipped with air-conditioning, safe deposit box, free Wi-Fi Internet access, kitchenette with microwave and spacious refrigerator including freezer, coffee machine, a modern bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The service to all apartments includes a replacement of clean towels twice a week, a weekly cleaning and change of bed linen and the end cleaning. Pets are allowed at an extra charge.
The apartments are divided into different categories:
- Studio Apartments
This one-bedroom apartment of 25m2 can host up to three people. All studios have a tiled terrace or balcony.
- Apartments
One, two and three bedroom apartments are available with a balcony or terrace and can host up to seven people. A selection of apartments have a spectacular sea view.
Facilities
The distance to the beach varies from 10 to 200 metres. The peninsula includes attractive well-maintained rocky, terraced beaches and pebbly bays awarded with the Blue Flag. The resort offers three outdoor swimming pools with sea water, a water slide and deckchairs are also available.
Guests of Park Plaza Verudela have at their disposal a sports and recreation centre with 18 tennis courts, two five a side football pitches, sport grounds for handball, basketball, volleyball,
beach ball, squash, mini golf and table tennis. There are also options to rent a bike and to discover several water sport activities. Guests are welcome in the nearby beauty and health centre in Park Plaza Histria that offers a sauna, treatment rooms and a hairdresser. Other facilities include a souvenir shop, supermarket, exchange office and a laundry service.
Kids Club
A brand new kids club offers a well equipped baby corner (0-3 years) for the youngest, mini club and a teens club with high tech interactive audio/ video room. Kids will find a Robinson Crusoe Island, underwater caves and a small theatre with every day performances.
Restaurants and Bars
The resort offers a variety of restaurants including Mediterranean cuisine and Istrian delicacies using
fresh local ingredients as well as a pizzeria and snack bars. In the pool and beach bars a wide selection of drinks and cocktails are available.
